Choosing the right focal length for the scene is half the work in photography. Depending on what focal length you choose, can drastically change what the photo looks like. In this series, I will be comparing all main prime lens focal lengths at portrait photoshoots. We are starting this series off on the wide end!

I will be demonstrating the differences between a 24mm vs 35mm prime lens. Watch the behind the scenes video of our photoshoot below to hear my thoughts and see all the comparison images.

I am using the Sony GM 24mm f1.4 and the Sony GM 35mm f1.4. I am using both these lenses on a full frame camera: The Sony A7IV. This is also a reminder that you don't need the exact same gear as me to see there results! Any 24mm or 35mm lens (even on a zoom lens!) will produce the same field of view as you see here in my examples.
