The Tamron 18-300mm f3.5-6.3 lens for Sony E is Tamron's latest all in one superzoom lens. This lens is the world's first interchangeable 16.6x zoom lens for APS-C mirrorless cameras. You have a wide angle full frame equivalent of 27mm, going all the way to an impressive telephoto full frame equivalent of 450mm. You have a huge range of focal lengths to use in one small and light weight lens at only 620 grams.

Tamron are no strangers to creating quality mirrorless zoom lenses. Especially on focal lengths we don't typically see other manufacturers working on. I recently reviewed the Tamron 28-200mm f2.8-5.6, you can see unedited, straight out of the camera photos from that lens in the blog post.

With the recently announced Tamron G2 28-75mm f2.8 and the extremely anticipated 35-150mm f2-f2.8, Tamron is working on some really exciting lenses. Stay tuned for a review coming soon of both these lenses. This Tamron 18-300mm f3.5-6.3 is also the first AF third party lens for Fujifilm X-mount. I am looking forward to reviewing how this lens performs on a Fujifilm camera soon!

I am reviewing this superzoom lens alongside the new wide angle Tamron 11-20mm f2.8. I am using both lenses on the APSC Sony A6600 camera body. In this review, we will check out how these lenses perform for both photo and video.

We test out the Tamron 18-300mm and 11-20mm for portrait photography in a studio. I used a simple one light setup, which you can see in the behind the scenes video below. In my review video, I share in camera footage of eye AF to see how it performs in photo and video. I also try some bird photography on the Tamron 18-300mm f3.5-6.3!

The Tamron 11-20mm f2.8 is the perfect lens for travel photography and vlogging on an APSC camera body. Watch my review video below to see the footage and unedited photos.
